OUR SUPPORTERS
HOW OUR COMMUNITY SUPPORTS US
Heidelberg SES receives limited funding from state and local government to provide our local community with emergency response to storm & flood events. We therefore rely heavily on business partnerships to supplement our training and operational capabilities. Below you’ll find some of our active sponsors.
AUSSIE BROADBAND
For over a year now, Aussie Broadband have provided Heidelberg SES with a reliable NBN connection at a super fast 100/40mbps speed. This connection has been pivotal in providing our members with the required network access to access valuable online resources during training sessions, and has enabled remote access to unit technology resources (including remote security monitoring). We are grateful for Aussie’s continued support.
BANYULE COUNCIL
Banyule Council has had a long-standing partnership with Heidelberg SES. Through the annual financial recognition programs, Heidelberg has been successful in obtaining critical funding that supported the upgrade of ageing IT equipment, completed the acquisition and formation of the Heidelberg SES Search and Rescue Bike Squad and most recently equipped our Unit with a Search and Rescue Stretcher Mule.
COMMUNITY BANK CLIFTON HILL/ NORTH FITZROY
The Community Bank Clifton Hill / North Fitzroy (Clifroy) Branch is one of our biggest and longest running non-government sponsor of Heidelberg SES through their Community Partnership Program. Over the years, Lee and the team at Clifroy have helped us to secure much needed funds that helped us to replace aging IT equipment, as well as an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) that will undoubtedly be used to save lives.
When you choose to bank with Clifroy, you are making a decision that benefits you and the Clifton Hill / North Fitzroy community; just as they have supported us! Drop into their branch at 101 Queens Parade, Clifton Hill or phone 9482 9040 to find out more.
COMMUNITY BANK EAST IVANHOE/ HEIDELBERG
The Community Bank East Ivanhoe/ Heidelberg recently provided Heidelberg SES with a grant to purchase battery powered lighting and stands for emergency vehicles. The equipment will be used on jobs such as lighting up crime scenes for police, at command posts on searches for missing persons, or when operating chainsaws, performing roofing repairs and working late at night.
When you choose to bank with the branch, you are making a decision that benefits you and the East Ivanhoe/ Heidelberg community. Visit the branch at 233-235 Lower Heidelberg Road East Ivanhoe VIC 3079 or phone 9497 5133 to find out more.
